The images below show the off-tool parts and the tool make-up for a large interior trim side panel. This tool was made in 8 weeks and has supplied more than 300 parts for use with crash testing, assembly, and build quality assessment. The advantage of the more-advanced level of prototyping is that parts are supplied in fully-finished condition in the actual production intent material.
